Established in 1991, Double Pine has been in the business of inventing, producing, implementing and servicing software to fit in with domestic business norm, culture, constraints, regulation and laws. The unique software concept was initially developed to fulfill Thai accounting and financial requirement and was branded “MAC”; where later on, the MAC sequel has been consistently improved and demonstrated itself as one of best accounting package nationwide

The first MAC suite (version 1-2) was based on MS-DOS. In 1998, MAC-3 was launched as the first MS-Windows accounting software in Thailand. The next version MAC-4 and -5 were formulated later on following IT and OS transformation. In 2005, waves of new management realization were imposed on public and private sectors, namely Strategic Management, Sales-automation, Business Intelligence; where Double Pine also adopted some of the practices. The “MacServe” was invented to cater for this mandate and also incorporated a paperless need for internal communication.

On the organization front, the company has gone through several development stages. The changes reflected both motivations to please customers and other needs to adapt. At present, the company employs around 50 highly competent personnel with stringent HRM and HRD plans. A ‘Strategic Management’ is imposed, together with ISO-9000 workflow. The company’s growth has relied on customers’ confidence and recommendation, the core policy is customer-delight, and the vision and mission are squared on “presenting customers with high quality, reliable and honest product and service”.
